What to bring?

Temperatures on Lake Michigan are very unpredictable. While the temperature at the dock might be 80 degrees two miles offshore the temperature could be in the mid 60's! This is especially true in April-May and September. Bring along a sweatshirt, jacket, and slacks or pants just in case. You will need sun block or tanning lotion. Sun glasses and shorts for hot sunny days. Rain jackets are recommended if weather conditions are likely for rain!

Two coolers are recommended. One large one that is usually left in your vehicle for transporting the catch home and a smaller one for food and beverages to bring on the boat. A typical problem that arises is that the fish cooler is too small. Also bring a camera and lots of film. Charter fishing trips are an excellent opportunity to collect memories! Fishing licenses are required . They can be purchased on the boat for one day!

Don't forget!

Any items that you might need the day of the trip we recommend you pick them up from Bass Pro shops or other fine retailers. There is a useful quick link, on the right sidebar under the news section, that should take you to the fishing section.
