Welcome to the home of Bandit 2 charters. My name is Captain Peter Nied, and I am a full-time U.S.C.G. Lic. Captain. That is important because I fish every day. I am the owner/operator of this business. Being a full-time captain ensures you that we won't spend a lot of wasted time deciding where to go or what to use. I have over 30 years experience on Lake Michigan, and I hold one of the oldest charter licenses on the Lake.

Aboard the Bandit 2 we fish out of Waukegan harbor. I’ve fished all over Lake Michigan (Kenosha (WI), Hammond (IN), Northpoint marina (IL), the reason why I fish out of Waukegan is simple, better fishing.  In the years that I’ve been on Lake Michigan I can tell you that the hardest part about fishing is finding the fish. At Waukegan harbor I can get you to the fish faster than anyone on the lake… the only thing you have to do is reel them in!  I have been aggressively fishing this area on Lake Michigan for over 30 years.

All of the trips that we offer are private charters, and all conveniences, amenities, and equipment are provided for a surely enjoyable fishing trip on the Great Lakes.
